F.A.Q.’s

/Bivo͞oˌak/  An improvised encampment constructed of natural materials such as those used in scouting and mountaineering.
A hostel is basically a hotel with more shared space. Dormitory style bunk beds, in-room shared bathrooms, and hangout space are the staples of our hostel. All this shared space is the fiber for shared stories, shared experiences, and new friends!
Yes, a delicious breakfast with healthy options is included in the price of the bed or room. Fresh fruit, homemade granola, greek yogurt, orange juice, and an assortment of bagels are staples of a Bivvi breakfast. In addition, we are continually rotating our hot breakfast options, which includes eggs, pancakes, sausage, and other home cooked treats.

Yes, The Bivvi is a short walk to town. There is a trail just off the back deck that will lead to the edge of town. From there you are just a short stroll down Colorado 9 to the south side of Main Street. Approximately 8-12 minutes total walking time.
Although we love our furry little friends, we sadly do not allow dogs, rabbits, sloth bears, or any other pets to spend the night.  It is simply too difficult to keep the rooms to our standard of cleanliness while allowing them to stay. However, there is a doggie daycare and boarding house that is highly regarded nearby.  Their name is Breckenridge Dog House and their number is (970) 453-5301.

All of the rooms at The Bivvi have bathrooms. If you are in a private room you will have a private bathroom. If you are in a hostel-style room you will share the bathroom with only the people in your room. The sinks are outside of the bathrooms so you will never be denied access to the sink if someone else is using the bathroom.
